# Workspace subdomain

> Find your workspace subdomain and use it to connect an assistant.

Every NeetoForm workspace has its own subdomain. It is the part of your workspace URL before `neetoform.com`. For `https://spinkart.neetoform.com`, the subdomain is `spinkart`.

The MCP server URL is the same for every workspace, `https://connect.neetoform.com/mcp/messages`. The subdomain is how you tell NeetoForm which workspace the assistant can reach.

## Find your subdomain

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open your workspace">
    Sign in to NeetoForm in your browser and look at the address bar.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Take the part before neetoform.com">
    For `https://green-earth.neetoform.com`, the subdomain is `green-earth`.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Where you use it

* **OAuth.** The first sign-in screen asks you to connect your workspace. Enter the subdomain, such as `green-earth`. You can also paste the full workspace URL, and only the subdomain is kept. An email address does not work. The screen links to this page as **Find your workspace subdomain**.
* **API key.** Create the key in the workspace you want the assistant to reach. One key reaches one workspace.

See [Authentication](/mcp/authentication) for both routes.
