These commands help you send a form to people. Each one takes the form’s UUID. For fields and response details, see the API reference for share details, the public link, prefilled links and email invitations.

Show share details

This command shows the form’s public link, the same link on each custom domain, and the embed codes. Use this when you need a link or a snippet to paste into a website.
Required arguments:
  • <form-id> - The form’s UUID, from neetoform forms list
Sample output (--json)
Pass --embed with inline, floating-popup, element-popup or iframe to print only that snippet. Links and embeds work only when the form is published. This command changes the last part of the form’s public link. Use this when you want a link that is easy to read, or a new random link.
Required arguments:
  • <form-id> - The form’s UUID, from neetoform forms list
The old link stops working at once, including in emails and embeds you already sent. The new ID can have letters, numbers, - and _, and must be unique in the workspace. Leave out --public-link-id to get a random one. The output is the new share details. This command builds a link that opens the form with some answers filled in. Nothing is saved. Use this when you want to send people a form that already has their name or email in it.
Required arguments:
  • <form-id> - The form’s UUID, from neetoform forms list
Sample output (--json)
Repeat --answer for each question. It takes <question-id>=<value>, where the question ID comes from neetoform forms questions list <form-id>. For a value that is not plain text, such as a phone number or a full name, use --answers-json with a JSON array:
You can use --answer and --answers-json together.

Send email invitations

This command emails people an invitation to fill in the form, now or later.
Required arguments:
  • <form-id> - The form’s UUID, from neetoform forms list
Sample output (--json)
This sends real emails to real people. If any address is not valid, nothing is sent. Run the command again and the emails are sent again. When the form is limited to invited people, each address is also added to its invite list. Leave out --send-at to send now.
